I was terrified to teach the more advanced subjects because I never did all that well in school myself. I still couldn't do 7th grade algebra if my life depended on it, so I enrolled the help of another homeschool mom who was truly *gifted* at math. I bartered with a variety of things like dinners, babysitting and things of the like. It saved my LIFE, and my son enjoyed the break from "teacher mom."
